Licinius I 308-324 A.D. Follis Good Fine -- #AC108619
AE Follis 22mm. 8.00g. Antioch Mint 308-311 A.D. Laureate head, r. IMP C LIC LICINNIVS P F AVG Genius standing l., chlamys over l., shoulder, holding cornucopiae and patera from which liquor flows; crescent over altar in l. field, (epsilon)/(delta) in r. field; In ex.: ANT GENIO IMP-ERATORIS cf. RIC VI 106b, 119b, and 148b Good Fine. Seemingly very rare. Not in RIC. Dark green patina. Good centering. Trace porosity. Small adhesion at chin. This exact reverse type is unlisted in RIC. Types with a crescent on the left and an altar on the left exist, but not together, according to RIC. There are thus three entries listed in RIC that are close (all listed as 'scarce' to 'rare'), but do not fully match. However, only RIC 119b notes the epsilon-delta (9th) officina for Licinius, so this coin may best fit there.

Licinius I 308-324 A.D. Follis Near EF -- #AC102172
AE Follis 21mm. 3.79g. Ticinum Mint 313-314 A.D. Laureate head, r. IMP LICINIVS P F AVG Mars in military dress, standing r., reversed spear in r. hand, l. on grounded shield, cloak across shoulder; In ex.: ST MARTI CON-SERVATORI RIC VII 13 var. (reverse star) Near EF. Very rare. Olive green patina. Sharp details. Some smoothing and tool marks. Small red adhesions. Unlisted in RIC. Without a star in the reverse field, this coin is a better fit within the 313 A.D. emission (RIC 5 and 6). While RIC lists only Constantine for the 313 A.D. types, the mode of issue would imply that Licinius was likely included as well.
