An interesting piece for a specialist in Seleukid or ancient counterfeits.

This mint, identified by its distinct DEL control mark, is closely associated with Antioch’s primary mint. It may have been opened nearby in response to Ptolemy III’s invasion in 246 B.C., and remained in operation through Seleucus II’s reign.
