Canada 2020 Aquitaine Bull 8 Dollars/1.5 oz Silver Brilliant Uncirculated -- #BU96266

With a stance as commanding as the bronze bull of Manhattan's Wall Street District, this Aquitaine bull brings its own breed of economic optimism and strength to this bullion coin. The characteristic upswing of a charging bull's horns symbolizes the rising stock prices of a 'bullish' growth investment market. This is in direct contrast to the downward slash of a bear's paw during a 'bear market' where decreasing stock values warrant caution until the trend reverses.

The Blonde Aquitaine has been valued by farmers as long ago as the Middle Ages in the Aquitaine District of southwest France. US and Canadian ranchers began discovering the breed in the early 1970s, and quickly embraced its easygoing and hardy nature, and its ability to forage on rocky or sparse terrain. The Blonde Aquitaine is a moderate-sized breed that delivers excellent returns due to its high growth rate, lean muscling and calving success. It's an enduring and dependable breed that promises to build a momentum of optimism and confidence well into the 21st century!

    Special Features:
  • Two unique features of cutting-edge security, including the precise radial lines on the obverse and reverse, and a micro-engraved maple leaf with year of issue '20', provides enhanced security on this pure silver bullion coin for added peace of mind.
  • Masterfully crafted by Royal Canadian Mint engravers using a variety of engraving techniques and finishes to bring depth and texture to this stunning image.

INDIAN STATES: Bahawalpur AH 1342 or 1343 (1923-1925) AE Paisa AU/UNC -- #BU54481

Obv.: Toughra (Prince's personal signature) / Rev.: Persian inscription; three branches and four stars above.Approx 16mm wide and 2.5g. KM Y-8.

Bahawalpur is situated in the area that is known as the 'Crossroads of Asia', which was hotly contested by ancient conquerors. At one time, it was a part of Afghanistan. In the 19th and 20th Centuries it became an Indian Princely State. It remained as such until 1947 when the new nation of Pakistan was formed. Bahawalpur became the main princely state to be ceded to Pakistan. This unusual coin from a location that few American collectors have ever heard of features one of the last uses of the ornate 'Toughra' style royal signature, developed during the Ottoman Empire.

Krause lists XF examples at $15, with no values cited for UNC. We are fortunate to be able to offer select AU/UNC examples of this intriguing piece missing from many world coin collections.

MEXICO Revolutionary Durango 1914 Aluminum 1 Centavo UNC -- #BU52384

MEXICO. Mexican Revolution. Durango State. 1914. Aluminum 1 Centavo. 21mm. REPUBLICA MEXICANA, eagle on cactus devouring serpent; floral sprays below / ESTADO DE DURANGO, 1 CENTAVO. G-B 113; Wood 45; Utberg DUR-23; KM 628. BU.

During the Mexican revolution, almost 20 different states and municipalities struck their own coinage- much of it in low numbers. Durango state produced a famoustly crude series of coins, but in 1914 decided to upgrade to state of the art minting standards. This issue was contracted out to a Denver firm, and because the Revolution was coming to a close, a number of examples survived in mint state. Certified MS examples have sold for well over $50 each. Because of a fortunate purchase of a small group, we can offer these coins significantly cheaper.
