Stolen Coin Alert

The following coins were stolen from us at a Chicago area show on 3/9/08. If you see any of these coins offered in any online venues, please let us know by contacting us.
An individual by the name of Kenneth Frost of Chicago, IL sold four missing coins to a Minnesota dealer at the Northwest Coin Club show in Brooklyn Center, MN. The dealer was unaware of the stolen status of these coins until after the transaction occurred and the coins have been recovered. The below coins are still missing.

Divus Augustus Died 14 A.D. Æ As

Obv: Radiate head of Augustus, l.; thunderbolt before.

Rev: Female figure (Livia?) seated r., feet on stool, holding patera and sceptre; S C to either side.

VF. Glossy dark brown patina. Attractive portrait. Some roughness.

ENGLAND Tudor Dynasty Henry VIII 1509-1547 AR Halfpenny

Obv: Crowned bust facing.

Rev: Long cross pommée; pellet trefoils in quadrants.

VF. Toned. Somewhat encrusted.

ENGLAND Tudor Dynasty Elizabeth I 1558-1603 AR Milled Shilling

Obv: Large crowned bust left, with ornate dress; rose behind head.

Rev: Arms surmounted by long cross fourchée; date above.

VF. Great portrait and nice old toning. Light marks in fields, but no major waves or bends.

ENGLAND Tudor Dynasty Elizabeth I 1558-1603 AR Milled Shilling

Obv: Large crowned bust left, with ornate dress; rose behind head.

Rev: Arms surmounted by long cross pattée; date above.

VF. Strong portrait and nice old toning. Clashed dies, but no major waves or bends.

ANGLO-GALLIC Edward 'the Black Prince' 1362-1372 AR Hardi d'Argent

Obv: The Black Prince standing facing, within arch, holding sword.

Rev: Long cross pattée, quartered with lis and leopards passant left.

VF. Toned. Very weak strike.
