VF. Unevenly struck. Lightly cleaned. These issues were struck in the name of al-Zahir Ghazi, but all dated posthumously. They are often slightly debased or underweight. It is thought that the type was issued with the permission of the Franks or Ayyubids to facilitate local commerce in Syria.
