Lot of ten medals, 9 depict an ancient coin from the Middle East and Asia, 1 depicts a Menorah and commemorates The Israel Museum. Coins represented: Tiberias, Lod, Nabataean, Beit-Shean, Acre, Jaffa, Ashkelon, Bar-Kochbar Revolt and Caesarea. Each medal is 45mm, weighs a little over 1.5oz troy and has an edge marked 'STATE OF ISRAEL / STERLING 935' and other Hebrew characters. Each has an 'antiqued' and brushed finish with light handling marks.

A nice group. May or may not be a complete set.

Lot contains 10 different reverse types of Gordian III antoniniani. All coins VF, some with weak strikes. Types included: Securitas, Hercules, Mars standing, Emperor in military dress, Felicitas, Aeternitas, Jupiter, Laetitia, Mars advancing and Roma.

Set of (3) California 'gold' bear halves, dated 1852, 1854, and 1856. Includes an octagonal and round Indian, plus a round Liberty type. Struck in gold plated brass. These tokens include an old-time flip with an original ticket with a description, circa1950's-1970's. Tokens feature Locke Bear #1. Interesting for the California Gold historian and ephemera collector.
